Biography
I grew up in Riga, Latvia, spent part of my teens in Virginia, USA, and have lived in Finland since 2005 – now in Porvoo. My mother tongue is Russian, and I work in English.
I learned to code at Progmeistars in Riga in 2005 and later earned a BBA and an MBA in Finland. Still, most of what I use every day I learned by doing – over 20 years of building things and continuous self-learning.
These days nearly everything I work on involves applied AI – semantic search, AI agents and AI-assisted analysis – across all my hats above.
